Seminar
An anthology show where featured shorts are heard through the lens of lessons in a futuristic post-apocalypse.
The content of "Seminar" varies by episode as dictated by the featured shorts. Shorts range from very G-rated to hard R. Listener discretion is advised.
So you want to submit a script, eh? Fantastic! We'd love to read it. Submission guidelines:
1. Your story must be in script form. We do not have time to convert prose to script. Remember you only have dialogue and sound effects to work with. Here's a sample audio script, if you're not familiar. All scripts for "Seminar" must be in standard screenplay format.
2. Submitted scripts should be 3 - 15 pages in length.
3. No prior scripted podcast/audio drama writing experience is required! Our editor will work with you to ensure the script works in the medium. Expect a few rounds of notes and revisions!
4. The story and characters must be original. If you are adapting an existing work, it must be in the public domain. YOU retain full rights to the script, story, and characters. By submitting your script, you grant Pendant Productions the right to produce said material in audio form and to promote "Seminar" using said material, and declare you have the rights to submit said material to us. You also agree that the final production, as produced by Pendant Productions and our actors and directors, will be copyright Pendant Productions (this allows us to offer it on Apple Podcasts, Spotify, et al). Scripts are written on a volunteer basis for credit only, in a free, all-volunteer production.
5. Scripts should be sent to pendantscripts@gmail.com. Make sure your subject line includes "Seminar Submission: YourTitleHere".
6. Stories must be self-contained. "Seminar" features shorts, not 20-part epics.
